Judy McKinley has worked in mental health for 16 years in such settings as inpatient hospitalization, telephone crisis hotline, community outpatient services, behavioral health treatment facility, and in a private psychotherapy group practice since 2007. She opened McKinley Transitions Therapy in August 2012. She specializes in helping clients navigate through life transitions.
She holds a B.A degree in Psychology from DePauw University in Indiana, and an M.Ed. degree in Counseling from Georgia State University in Atlanta. She is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia and is a registered Amen Method Professional.

Judy is a sister, a daughter, mother of two, stepmother of one, grandmother of four, an avid reader, dog lover, fan of travel and terminally curious. When she isn't working with a McKinley Transitions Therapy client or participating in professional development, you'll find Judy gardening, exploring local parks with her dogs Kiran and Caroline, or spending time with her family.
